Blankos Block Party – proofs
First NFT Game on Epic Store 75 by Pablo (d1ke2306@gmail.com)
Blankos Block Party is a MMO game developed by Mythical Games. It is set in a vibrant and colorful world of vinyl toy characters called ‘Blankos’.
You can collect, customize, and compete with your Blankos in a variety of minigames and activities. The game features a sandbox-style open world where you can explore, build, and socialize with other players.
The game also has a robust creative toolset that allows players to create their own minigames, and share them with the community. The game is fun to play but in our opinion it’s not the type of game that you could play for several hours every day as it could get repetitive quickly.
Blankos Block Party is available on PC and Mac and it was the first NFT game launched on Epic Store thanks to the collaboration with Epic Games.
The game has no token at the moment and there is a possibility to earn in the game with a F2P version.
The team is composed of industry veterans with a wealth of experience in the gaming industry, including experience in game development, game design, and game production, they worked at some of the biggest videogames companies like Activision, Ubisoft, Codemasters and more.

Weaknesses 50 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
– LOOK INTO COIN/TOKENOMICS
– Team is not fully mentioned anywhere. You have to go look for specific members on LinkedIn and then still you don’t find them all.
Edited version by Pablo below:
- Gameplay can result repetitive
- Just average community engagement
- Needs more content
- Ocassional Pay to Win

Opportunities 75 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
The game is on a pretty unknown Blockchain. They did recently create an Ethereum Bridge, but there are definitely more opportunities for Blankos to expand to more blockchains.
Right now the game is mostly focussing on updating the game and perfecting it. They could look into more potential collaborations to make fun elements in the game.
Also, with their NFT updates that are designed by different artists everytime, there is so much opportunity to work with amazing artists in the future. When Blankos gets even more recognition they will be able to partner up with bigger names.
Updated version by Pablo below:
Blankos Block Party has a great opportunity to take advantage of their collab with Epic Games and attract traditional players to Web3 gaming.
They have several very talented and experienced team members and after signing important partnerships they’re very well positioned to become one of the most important crypto games.
Also, with their new NFT collections that are designed by different artists every time, there is so much opportunity to work with amazing artists in the future.

Threats 50 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
The only threat we can see right now is that the team is not fully known or fully mentioned with all the members in one space.
The game is fun, accessible and could attract lots of players if they get a bigger name.
Edited version by Pablo below:
Blankos Block Party has several potential threats and the team needs to focus on preventing and fixing those issues in order to deliver a great final product.
Firstly the team needs to create more content in order to keep the players engaged with the game, the gameplay is fun but it can get repetitive.
Another threat is that there is a little bit of Pay to Win in the game that can frustrate many players and although it’s not very accentuated, the team should fix this problem and create a more balanced experience for everyone.
The team chose the EOS blockchain for the game and in our opinion it probably wasn’t the best idea in order to attract more players as it doesn’t have as many active users as most of their competitors, you can learn more about our opinion about it in the ‘Blockchain’ section.

Blankos Block Party Uniqueness 85 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
The Blankos, as in the skins, are what makes the game. They are fun looking collectibles and gamers will want their favorite ones and will either pay or play for them.
They have a good design, cute little dolls that are colourful and very distinguishable while playing the games or just being in the lobby.
Updated version by Pablo below:
The main unique selling point of the game is that it was the first blockchain game featured on Epic Store thanks to their collaboration with Epic Games, as you probably know they created games like Fortnite and millions of players use their platform every day giving Blankos more visibility.
Another unique selling point of Blankos Block Party is the game’s creative tools and the ability for players to create and share their own minigames, it encourages players to be more than just consumers but also creators and contributors to the game.
The game’s art style and world design are quite different from other NFT games, Blankos Block Party features a vibrant and colorful world of ‘vinyl toy’ characters, which is a unique and appealing visual style.
The game’s focus on community and social interaction is also a unique point, as it encourages players to engage with each other and form a community. This creates a more immersive and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Blankos Block Party Gameplay 75 by Pablo (d1ke2306@gmail.com)
Blankos Block Party is a combination of sandbox style open-world gameplay and multiplayer minigames. The game is set in a vibrant and colorful world of vinyl toy characters called ‘Blankos’. There are a lot of unique Blankos available on the marketplace and even if you don’t want to spend money you’ll receive a free Blanko to use in-game.
You can explore the game’s open world and discover different minigames and activities like racing, platforming or even music-based games. These minigames are designed to be challenging but also fun, and offer a great way for players to test their skills and compete with others.
The gameplay is really fun but the game needs more content as it can get boring quite easily, hopefully the team will introduce more content shortly as the game has great potential and the team is really talented.
It’s important to note that the game is mainly focused on PVP right now but the team has plans to include PVE as well although no dates were announced yet.

Gameplay 80 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
A review found on their site from a gamer: “a variety of gameplay, fun creation tools and an amazing style that makes for some rather memorable virtual toys to collect.”
“Play Blankos your way. Go on solo quests and unlock new rewards to trick out your Blankos, or grab a squad and compete in epic block parties.”
Edited version by Pablo below:
Blankos Block Party graphics are colorful and have a unique style. The game’s world is filled with different locations and environments that are visually distinct and interesting, with bright colors and interesting textures and details.
The characters and items in the game are appealing and have a unique vinyl toys look and the game runs pretty smooth making the overall experience enjoyable.
There are several trailers on Youtube, you can check them in the links below.

Gamer Engagement 70 by Pablo (d1ke2306@gmail.com)
Blankos Block Party is really engaging at the beginning as the game has a unique approach and there aren’t too many games like it, especially on blockchain. You have a lot of customization options, you can upgrade your Blanko depending on your game style and complete different challenges and compete against other players in competitive mini-games.
Party Pass is a cool idea that encourages players to keep playing and competing against others in order to climb in the leaderboard and earn rewards.
However after playing several hours, the game starts to get quite repetitive and even with the community made maps and mini-games there’s not enough content to keep players engaged for a long time. It’s still a fun game and you’ll very likely enjoy it but it’s one of those games that you could play from time to time and have some fun.
Hopefully the team will introduce more unique experiences that’ll attract new players to the project and keep them engaged for a long time, only time will tell if they succeed.

How to Get Started 80 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
To play the game, these are the steps to getting started:
– Make an account with your e-mail and some personal information
– Download the game on the website
– Play the Tutorial
You get a free Blanko that you have to unbox when starting to play the game. There is a marketplace where you can buy NFTs or accessories to make your character better.
There is also a Party Pass. These usually run for almost two months. If you purchase this for $24,99 you can earn extra NFTs and other collectibles in game.
Updated version by Pablo below:
Getting started in Blankos Block Party is pretty easy and it could take more or less time depending on your internet connection.
First of all you have to create an Mythical Games account and download the Blankos launcher from their website, the launcher needs around 700MB of free space. After opening the launcher the game will automatically start downloading and you’ll need at least 5GB of free space.
Once the game launches you’ll get your free Blanko to use in-game, there is a quick tutorial where you can learn all the basics, it’ll take you less than 10 minutes as the gameplay is not too complicated and after the tutorial you can go ahead and start playing the main game modes with other players. You’ll get your free Party Pass as well after playing for a while and all the challenges will unlock for you.
* It’s important to note that if you’re planning to play the game seriously and try to earn the highest rewards, it’s recommended to buy Party Pass+ that costs $14.99.
The game is playable on Mac and PC and these are the recommended specs:
PC Specs for 1920×1080, Graphics Quality on High and 60 FPS
- Processor: Intel Core i7-4770

How to Play 75 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
As soon a you start the game you can play the tutorial. This explains you most of the things you need to know.
You can either play solo or go in Live Gameplay with other players around the world.
There are daily and weekly challenges. When you complete these you earn coins and other collectibles in game. You can use these to upgrade your skin for example.
Your Blanko has different skills and these you can choose. Also, by leveling up you will be able to choose more skills.

There are several game modes although the most played ones are:
- Junction is a single player experience and it’s the best place to start and learn all the mechanics (This game mode was formerly called Party Bus)
- Blankos Brawl is the main PVP mode where you compete against other players in different mini-games
- Building is where you can build your own mini-games and challenges, it’s really easy and you don’t need to know coding at all

Skills and Strategy 75 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
You need some basic gamer skills. With the Live Gameplay you race against other players and to win you need some decent skills. Anyone who has excessively played Super Mario will be able to play this game. There is a Collect Energy game, a Race game and a Shooter game. So there is always something for anyone.
To become good at the game, it’s a matter of playing over and over again and practice.
Updated version by Pablo:
Blankos Block Party is a very simple and easy game, if you’re used to playing games in general you’ll get used to the game’s mechanics very quickly. The game’s controls are intuitive but there’s some input lag which could be a bit annoying sometimes.
The game is quite competitive and especially in Blankos Brawl you’ll have to do your best in order to become the winner or rather the ‘Brawl Champ!’, you’ll have to dominate all the game modes that consist in shooting, racing and collecting.
In our opinion the shooter game mode is the most competitve one as the racing and collecting modes doesn’t require too many skills from you.
Your Blanko has different skills that can be upgraded and you’ll be able to build your personalized character based on your preferences and it can give advantages against other players which isn’t necessarly a good thing as it makes the game Pay to Win sometimes although thankfully it’s not very accentuated.

Blankos Block Party P2E 70 by Pablo (d1ke2306@gmail.com)
You can earn rewards in Blankos Block Party even by playing the Free to Play version of the game although you’ll need to be skillfull and put in many hours. You can check some potential strategies for earning the highest possible rewards in the next sections.

P2E Strategy 70 by Pablo (d1ke2306@gmail.com)
There are mainly 2 strategies to earn in Blankos Block Party although the quantity and the time needed will depend on some factors:
- Playing the F2P version you’ll receive 1 free Blanko after downloading the game for the first time and a free Party Pass that’ll unlock challenges and completing against other players in Blankos Brawl. After earning the in-game coins you’ll be able to use those coins to mint a new Blanko or buy one from the internal marketplace. So in short, playing as F2P player you are able to earn rewards and make some money but it can take a very long time and you’ll have to prove your skills as well by winning Brawls
- Buying Party Pass+ that costs $14.99 and it gives you several opportunities to earn the rewards faster and it unlocks special challenges, it gives you the opportunity to earn NFTs directly by playing the game and earning XP as well as several other perks. Of course you’ll also be able to earn all the rewards that the F2P players but in less time
Overall our recommendation is that if you plan to play the game daily, you should buy the Party Pass+ as you don’t need to spend too much time playing the game in order to start earning rewards. If you just want to play the game from time to time and have some fun you can still do it without spending any money.
It’s important to note that according to the team’s roadmap for 2023 there will be 7 seasons this year and each Party Pass will expire after each season and if you want to keep having the premium experience you’ll have to buy Party Pass+ 7 times which would cost you almost $105 so it’s definitely something you should consider as if you won’t earn enough rewards you’ll be losing your money.

Economy Items 70 by Pablo (d1ke2306@gmail.com)
Blankos Block Party doesn’t have any on-chain tokens in their economy but there are some off-chain coins that are earnable by playing the game, and although you can’t withdraw or sell those coins, you can use them to purchase NFTs from the Mythical Marketplace or upgrade your Blanko.
Blankos are the main NFTs involved in the economy and there are several collections and rarities, each Blanko has its own set of skills that can by upgraded by playing the game and spending the in-game currencies like Blankos Bucks.
Almost all accesories are off-chain and they’re only used as cosmetic items but there are also Accessories NFTs that are available for purchase on the markeplace although none of them have an impact on the actual gameplay.

Info on NFTs 75 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
“The things you earn and buy in Blankos are yours to own. That’s right – each Blanko is an NFT which means that they hold value and can be sold and bought on our marketplace.”
Because it was a traditional game before it was a crypto game, you buy the NFTs with dollars on a creditcard instead of connecting your crypto wallet to pay.
“When Mythical was showing Blankos to big brands roughly three years ago, the NFT industry was an odd, little-known space. This was ages before the Great NFT Boom (and Bust) of 2021, back when most folks were just beginning to hear about blockchain technology, mainly from the perspective of Bitcoin. Today, NFT marketplaces are so trendy they’ve become tacky.”
“Blankos are fun and mischievous digital vinyl toys brought to life. Inhabiting The Junction, their own offbeat world, they love good vibes and good times!
Each Blanko is a digital asset called an NFT that lives on blockchain. When you own a Blanko, you own them – not even the creators can take them away from you.”
Updated version by Pablo below:
Blankos Block Party NFTs are mainly available on their own marketplace called ‘Mythical Marketplace’ where you can pay with crypto or a credit card. In March 2022 Mythical Games enabled ETH bridge allowing players to bridge their NFTs between the two markets. It’s important to note that the NFTs bridged to Ethereum blockchain can’t be used in the game so basically the bridge in enabled in order to store them or sell them on Opensea instead of their internal marketplace. You can always bridge those NFTs back in order to keep using them.
There are 2 collections available on Opensea and the prices are essentially the same as on their marketplace.
Whitelist in not needed for minting new Blankos, you can simply go to their website and mint them right away.

Tokens 50 by Pablo (d1ke2306@gmail.com)
Blankos Block Party doesn’t use any on-chain tokens in their economy although there are some off-chain tokens that can be used in-game:
- Blankos Bucks is the main in-game currency, you can earn it by completing challenges and winning Brawls, you can also buy it from the marketplace using your credit card. The token has several utilities like upgrading your Blanko, buying emotes, weapons, minting new Blankos or buying Party Pass+. It’s important to note that the token is not tradeable and you can’t withdraw it to external wallets, it’s only meant to be used in-game
- Moola is the so called ‘Soft Currency’ in Blankos Block Party and it can be earned by playing the game, completing challenges or upgrading your Blanko. You can also buy it in-game with Blanko Bucks and its main utilities are buying accessories, building items, customizing your Blanko. All the accessories built and purchased with Moola are not available to sell on a marketplace as they’re only cosmetic items

Tokenomics 50 by Pablo (d1ke2306@gmail.com)
Blankos Block Party only uses 2 off-chain tokens that are not tradeable and can’t be withdrawn from the platform, their only use is to upgrade Blankos, minting new NFTs the team had some ideas about issuing a proper token but there was no new info about it and for now the game’s economy works with Blankos and Accessories NFTs.

Community Thoughts 65 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
“The game doesn’t have to be a grand slam,” Linden said. “We’re not trying to necessarily take on Roblox, but what we’re seeing is the community loves it. The community really loves what we’re doing, the brands love where it’s doing, so we’re going to definitely invest heavily behind it, to really show this and show all these new concepts that we want to do.”
Updated version by Pablo below:
Blankos Block Party team is present on 6 social media channels and they have very good followers number on some of them, especially on Discord. In the next section you can check all the exact numbers, if they’re legit and their community engagement.

Social Media Platforms 65 by Pablo (d1ke2306@gmail.com)
- Twitter was created in 2018 and has 37.7k followers, the team is very active here posting at least once every day and their engagement is just above average. Their tweets receive around 2-3k impressions during the first week and between 20 and 50 likes. There’s no sign of fake followers or bots usage.
- Discord has 145k members with decent but not great engagement, you can learn more about their Discord in the ‘Discord in Deep’ section
- Reddit has 2.7k followers but the team and community activity is very low here
- Facebook has 8k followers but the engagement here is very low with around 10 likes on average, the team is not very active here
- Instagram has 16.6k followers, the team has 500 posts here and their engagement is surprisingly very good but it seems that it’s thanks to Instagram ads since there are almost no comments even when there are more 150 likes. The team doesn’t post very often but they try to keep it updated
- Youtube has 5.8k subscribers and they around 50 videos uploaded and most of their recent videos receive less than 1k views. There are some videos with hundreds of thousands of views but after taking a closer look there’s clearly viewbotting involved, for example videos with more than 300k views have less than 50 likes and 16 comments which shows you that there’s something shady behind it

Discord Overview 70 by Pablo (d1ke2306@gmail.com)
Blankos Block Party uses Discord as their main social media platform with almost 145k members and around 6% of active users on average.
The community engagement is decent but you would expect more activity with so many members, the ‘General channel’ is the one with the most activity and although during some hours you can see it’s really active, but then it can be silent for some hours.
There are few info channels that are really well done, especially the ‘FAQ’ channel is filled with almost all the necessary info for new players that want to learn the basics, there are of course annoucements channels as well as ‘Official Links’ channel where you can find all the important links to avoid visiting fake websites.
There are also some channels where you can ask some more technical questions and the devs will provide you with the answers. If you have any suggestions you can go the specific channel and if interesting enough the team could include your ideas in the game. Support channel gives you the possibility to ask the team if you’ve encountered some difficulties when playing the game or you have some problems with your wallet.

There is also CCO Jamie Jackson, also from Mythical Games.

Blockchain 65 by Pablo (d1ke2306@gmail.com)
Blankos Block Party team decided to build their game on top of EOS.io blockchain and it’s a surprising choice in our opinion as it’s not the most used blockchain in gaming and doesn’t have as much users as the other solutions like Ethereum, Immutable X or Solana.
On paper EOS.io is capable of processing huge amount of transactions per second but since there aren’t too many active users it’s difficult to tell if that’s true and if the blockchain could manage that. The security is another of our concerns as there are other and more secure options out there, there aren’t too many wallet options either, making it less user friendly. The good news is that the fees are very low and transactions are pretty fast as well.
There was a lot of controversy in the past with the EOS blockchain, it’s still the biggest ICO to this date, it occured in 2018 and after raising $4B the project never worked as intended and the number of active users is extremely low but it seems that they’re slowly starting to recover thanks to the community.
Overall in our opinion the choice of EOS blockchain is a risky move as it’ll be harder to attract huge amount of players to the project although only time will tell if it works out.

Blankos Block Party Roadmap 65 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
The Roadmap is clear and their targets are being met. Because the game already exists for more than a year the future of the roadmap consists mainly of game updates. This makes sense for this moment in time. To be growing more a good option would be to have a big update next year, but in this stage perfecting the game is key.
Updated version by Pablo below:
Blankos Block Party roadmap is quite difficult to find as they have no whitepaper and we just found their newest one for the 2023 year during their latest stream. The team should create a proper whitepaper with all the info easily accesible to everyone.

Past Roadmap 80 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
The main thing in the Roadmap from the past is the Ethereum Bridge. They launched the Beta in March and then in May the Beta ended and it went full on the Ethereum mainnet. They kept their word and finished the Bridge in the first half of 2022. Of course there are always hurdles with these kind of updates, but overall it has gone well.
Furthermore, they have different Party Passes every couple of months and this looks like it is going well.
Updated version by Pablo below:
The team met several of their past milestones and even though some of them took more time than expected, overall they did a good job since the start of the project in the late 2020. Here are the most important targets they were able to achieve:

- First private beta (November 2020)

What to Buy 70 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
There is no token or coin of the game out yet and it is not sure if this will be the case in the future. The goal of the game was never to be a blockchain game, just a way of showcasing the NFTs.
Right now the best strategy seems like buying a Party Pass every season and make full use of this to earn the 9 NFTs. These you can either sell or use to play the game and earn rewards, like in game coins and collectibles.

Which Blanko NFT Fits You 70 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
The NFTs are the Blankos you play with. These have good entry prices, from around $5.
They are sold on the Mythical Marketplace, see link below. You can sort on price or other filters like Season or Skills.
It depends on your goal in the game. Check what is your expertise and look at the skills that are compatible with that. For example, if you are good at shooting games and levels, go with skills that go well with that game mode.

Artist NFT Drops 70 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
Every once in a while the game collabs with an artist who designs a new Blanko. This is a really cool way to get people excited to buy new skins/nfts. The last drop was 20th of July with the artist Jon-Paul Kaiser.
It’s a really cool feature and it’ll be interesting to see if the team keeps doing it in the future and maybe they come up with some new utilities for these collections.

Party Pass Exit Strategy 80 by Kim Smit (kimsmit2231@gmail.com)
If you have bought the Party Pass and played this to the fullest and earned 9 NFT’s, a good exit strategy would be to sell all the NFTs but one. This most likely will get your investment back and more and allows you to keep playing the game if you want.
You could then buy the Party Pass for the next season and keep repeating this strategy. Also judge is you get any collectible worthy NFTs and keep those in case they raise in value.
